My Continuation of Final Fnatasy XV

As I extended my hand out to the sword that lay on top of the stone coffin it suddenly began to float around me. As the sword of my ancestors began to spin more rapidly a strange blue glow omitted from the sword and from some strange orb that emerged from inside of Noctis. These artifacts littered across the game would all prove to be valuable weapons to defeat the daemons who stood in my path. My new mission for Noctis had taken a more vengeful route, his new plan was to avenge the death of his father and save his kingdom from the evils of Eos. A large task for most, but for Noctis and his squad this was a mission that they were all determined to complete.

(The Sword of A Thousand Truths)
In the morning of before I was about to head on the ferry, Ignis gave Noctis a newspaper stating that Insomnia was captured and his father was dead. Noctis declared this a joke and was upset with Ignis. I’m not certain why Noctis would think that it could be a forgery. It’s not as though there are printing presses just lying around. Not to mention Ignis certainly would have no idea how to operate one. It quickly became apparent that Noctis was a man who caused a boatload of drama. He accused his friend, got angry and pondered his angst thoughts in an overly dramatic fashion after realizing he was wrong.

(Noctis and his feelings)
A cut scene quickly began showing the fall of Insomnia, including the death of Noctis’ father. As far as cut scenes go it was incredibly well done and epic. I knew that there would be some incredible battles in my future after watching the results of the attack. It was an absolute landslide victory by the attackers, the people of Insomnia didn't stand a chance. I also knew that I had a long way to go to prepare for the fights that would take place so Noctis could take his place on the throne.

(The epic journey continues for the squad)
My journey continued with Noctis and company headed to Insomnia, the capital where Noctis’ father was. After sneaking in part of the way it was apparent that there was no way we would make it to the city. On top of that I was only level 10 which in the scheme of things meant I was nowhere. Knowing video games, it was likely all the enemies in there were multiple times my current level. Thus, I had to adventure more and defeat daemons who crossed my path. My squad would soon reach new heights as we were guided towards the locations of ancient weapons that would help to defeat the evil beings that attacked the kingdom.

(Lunafreya receiving a message from Noctis)
Not long afterwards I ran into an ally of the kingdom, a legendary knight named Cor Leonis. Cor ended up helping me in my pursuit of ancient weapons to help me on my quest. He also aided me in battle and proved to be a formidable warrior. As he fought and I used his team ability I realized how much stronger he was, most likely he was more powerful than my entire party combined. He also manages to handle the constant angst of Noctis which overflows consistently as he comes to terms with reality.

(Ready to mess up the mech guy)
Soon after the discovery of two such weapons Noctis was sent to make his way into enemy territory, with the help of his new friend, Cor. After a small segment of fights, we reached the ultimatum. This being some guy who decided that this fight that would take place would be one to remember (He was trash so he ended up being wrong). He ran into a mech that dropped out of a ship directly in front of me. Since I had fought some of these machines recently it was easy to find the mechs weak points, this lead to this boss fights conclusion in only a few minutes.

(Ignis, I thought I told you I needed to talk to my fiance in private)
After hitting level 17 I know I still have a way to go in the story of Final Fantasy XV. I’m looking forward to fighting more enemies, Prompto photos, seeking vengeance and finding out more about the characters. This game has a ton to offer and the hours it requires you to put in for completion makes the playtime comparable to games like The Witcher 3. I know that I personally will be spending a good chunk of time in the next few weeks finding out what happens in the end.
