Fun Times Playing With Emily

As I entered the house to deliver my pizza, I flinched as the door slammed shut behind me. I went to open it and to my dismay, it was locked. I had begun my horrifying adventure in Emily Wants To Play. This horror game terrified me on numerous occasions, and had me running from room, to room in terror. When I went further into the house I discovered that there was no one there. This was my hypothesis until the small, pale haired child who scurried across the floor into a hole in the floor appeared. The moment I saw that I turned tail and ran. As I continued to play, I discovered many horrors and small nuances that were chilling, and creative as well. The terror of darting around the house turning lights on, fighting demon dolls, and running for my life was an experience I wouldn’t soon forget.

(A lovely note left for me)
After my run in with the child that ran around like an animal I decided what the heck, I might as well look around for some clues. As I walked from room, to room I discovered several creepy notes. For example, on the whiteboard it said, “Don't Look At Her!”. Now, this was a great way to start things off. I wondered what splendid things would happen if I looked at who I assumed was Emily. I was so excited! Since I couldn’t wait to finally meet Emily, I continued to search the house finding several tapes left behind by Emily’s parents. They said some pretty disturbing things that gave me quite a bit to look forward to. As the witching hour drew closer, I knew this death trap was certain to be a blast.

(Being hunted by this creepy thing)
Moments later a cutscene began. It zoomed on the clock as it struck midnight. And so the horrors of Emily Wants To Play began. As I walked back out into the living room, I heard an awful sound. A creepy giggling echoed through my headphones that I could only assume to be Emily. As I turned around I nearly had a heart attack. A small girl doll that resembled something from the movie Dead Silence stood before me. It stood there glaring at me and for some reason, it was dabbing. Although her dabbing was quite amusing, I decided it was probably best to walk away from her. After all she probably wanted to play some horrible game with me. As I turned away from her, I was immediately attacked and killed by the hideous doll, causing me to scream in terror.

(She wouldn't stop coming back!)
After that fantastic encounter, I decided that it was probably best to not look away from the doll. After all, it didn’t seem to attack as long as it was in my sights. This time the second I heard her crazy laugh, I turned and stared her down. I stood unblinking and ready for her to murder me at any second. After a while she must’ve decided I wasn’t worth it, and fled our epic showdown in the kitchen. Of course when she disappeared, she decided it would be fun to turn the lights off, sending me into a panic as I ran around in fear searching for the light switch. After I found it and turned it on I regained my cool. I’d beaten her at her own game. Little did I know she would come back and we’d have many of these staring contests until finally, the clock struck 1.

(The horrifying doll playing peek a boo)
I had done it! I made it further into the game mostly unscathed. And as I journeyed further in search of clues I would encounter many more terrible misfortunes, two other dolls, and even Emily. Emily Wants To Play was an emotional rollercoaster that had my heart racing. I loved how the game looked, the vibe, the premise behind the dolls representing childhood games, and the absolute terror that it made me feel. I really haven’t played a horror game that keeps you on edge for as long as this has. I felt that the environment they throw you in, and the constant barrage of ghost dolls attacking you forces you to be scared the entire time. I haven’t had as much fun getting scared in quite some time, and I can’t wait to keep playing and discovering more about this game.
